Bollywood Producer Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife Mona Kapoor (February 3, 1964 – March 25, 2012) died on Sunday. Mona Kapoor was undergoing treatment after being diagnosed of cancer at Hinduja hospital. The 48-year-old, who was the CEO of Future Studios, an indoor shooting studio in Mumbai, is survived by two kids Arjun and Anshula. Her son Arjun is set to make his debut in Bollywood with Yash Raj Film’s ‘Ishaqzaade‘. She was looking forward to the launch of her son’s film ‘Ishqzaade’, which was slated for release.
Reportedly, Mona and producer Boney Kapoor separated after being together for a long time and the producer married actress Sridevi in 1996.
After hearing the news of her demise, the Khan brothers, Salman and Arbaaz, who were shooting for ‘Dabangg 2’ at the Kamalistan Studio immediately left for the hospital.
Bollywood was seen mourning Mona’s death and took to twitter to pay their condolence:

Mona was active on Twitter in her last days and on March 16, she had tweeted, “Once more anyone asks how I am, I will block them. You all know I am in hospital and battling stage 3 multiple organs cancer. Kindly pray for me. That’s all.”
The funeral will be held today at Pavan Hans in Santa Cruz here. “My aunt @monakapoor’s funeral is at 10.30 am Tom (Monday) 26th at Pavan Hans,” tweeted actress Sonam Kapoor.
