Versatile actor Vicky Kaushal is adding another feather in his cap, this time by featuring into a horror movie Bhoot Part 1- The Haunted Ship. Written and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and is a combined venture of Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film is slated to be released on Feb 21, 2020.
The movie revolves around a haunted ship docked on a beach. A private investigator has lost someone dear and wants to unbox the mystery surrounding the haunted ship. Interestingly, the movie is based on a real life incident that happened in Mumbai. The movie is entirely shot in Alang, Gujarat, which is known for being the biggest ship breaking yard in Asia.
The other star cast of the movie includes Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana. Music of the film is composed by Akhil Sachdeva.
This is the first time that Dharma Productions are venturing into the horror genre. Incidentally, it is also a directorial debut of Bhanu Pratap Singh.
