Bollywood movie Luv Ka The End is the first production venture of Y-Films – the new banner from Yash Raj Films for making youth oriented films and introducing fresh talent. And when Yash Raj Films is involved – cute is usually the key component.
Luv Ka The End is an ‘anti-rom-com’ that features daughter of Shakti Kapoor , Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role and a largely fresh supporting cast. The film is directed by Bumpy of MTV Roadies fame and produced by Ashish Patil.
This Hindi film tells the story of Rhea, the quintessential girl next door. She is in love with Luv Nanda (Taaha Shah), the richest and the most popular boy in her college.
On the eve of her 18th birthday, she plans to take her relationship with Luv Nanda to the ‘next level’. This is when she finds out Luv Nanda is not as nice as she thought he was.
Rhea decides to not get mad, but to get even with Luv Nanda. All in the span of one night with the help of her friends.
Music by Ram Sampath is hip, is zippy and it’s young. It is wholly and solely packaged for the consumption of GenNext. The album contains six tracks with mainly rock-pop feels. The music album kick starts with Freak out, which has already garnered popularity because of not only its music but it being the first song in Bollywood to use stop motion technology for the video. Also item number Mutton. It is an amazing song with superb lyrics and music to look forward.
But we’ll still keep an open mind, and believe that the promos speak the truth, and we can look forward to something funny yet dark on 6th May when this movie releases.
