Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has won the title of ‘Sexiest Asian Man’ with a huge margin, beating off tough competition from high profile stars to top the 50-strong list.
Described by many ‘Greek God’. Hrithik won by the biggest ever margin in the history of the men’s list to topple last year’s winner Ranbir Kapoor, who’s in sixth position this year. Last year Hrithik was in the third position.
Hrithik got votes from all over the world from fans of different ages and cultures via social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and others this year. The survey was conducted by the Eastern Eye Weekly.
Bollywood’s great dancer actor Shahid Kapur, occupied the second place. While Bollywood’s ‘Badshah‘ Shahrukh Khan came in the third and Salman Khan in the fourth position.
Other notable names in the list are John Abraham (7), Akshay Kumar (9), Arjun Rampal (11), actor Imran Khan (12), Saif Ali Khan (13), Atif Aslam (16), Indian batsman Virat Kohli (18), was the highest new entry in the 2011 list.
Other big debutants included Abhishek Bachchan (17), Prateik (20), Ajay Devgn (29), Siddhartha Mallya (31), Mahendra Dhoni (33), Farhan Akhtar (34), Aamir Khan (35), Zaheer Khan (39) and hip hop star Shizzio (46).
This year has been very lucky for Hrithik, first the ‘Sexiest Asian Men’ title and then the wax statue added to the ‘Madame Tussauds’ museum in London. Described by Madame Tussaud’s as “one of the most daring figures we have ever created”.
In terms of his looks, he is perfect to give competition to Hollywood stars and not to forget talent unlimited. Wishing him lots of good luck for coming years and all the best for his movie Agneepath, where he plays the lead role and also for his sequel Krrish 2.
