After admitting their 8 year old long relationship, they have made it official. We are talking about Maharashtra’s ex CM’s son, Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. Must say that the two kept their relationship in wraps, but how far can they get away from media?? Nevertheless, Ritesh and Genelia announced their love for each other on twitter last year and their fans were absolutely ecstatic.
The two love birds met on the sets of their debut film ‘Masti’ in 2004.
The two actors families have agreed on a February wedding and the couple will tie knot….oops knots. Yes knots, coz one
in a traditional Maharashtrian way and other in Christian way, as Genelia is a practising Christian. So obviously both Riteish and Genelia are running helter-skelter to wrap up work before the wedding.
Now for the celebrations, the couple will have their wedding Sangeet on 31st January at the Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. On 24th January, a pre-wedding party will be hosted by producer Sajid Nadiadwala and actor Fardeen Khan. The wedding ceremony will take place on 3rd February at the Grand Hyatt in Santa Cruz, Mumbai.
Keeping in mind that Ritesh and Genelia’s next release titled, ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ releases on 24th February, we’re told the couple will still be taking a month off from work commitments after the wedding. Does this mean they will be skipping the promotions of their own film too? For that we have to wait and watch.
Now for the star studded guest list, the likes of big bollywooders and Politian’s, are expected to attend the three day wedding celebrations.
