After ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’, Katrina Kaif sizzles again for an item number ‘Chikni Chameli’ for Karan Johar’s remake film ‘Agneepath’. ‘Chikni Chameli’ is super hit Marathi dance number ‘Kombadi palali’ composed by the brothers Atul and Ajay Gogavale. Shreya Ghoshal has lent her voice while Ganesh Acharya has choreographed the song.
Those who have seen Katrina in ‘Chikni Chameli’, say that she reminds them of the yesteryears dance icon Helen and her chartbuster song ‘Mungda’. 
Katrina is dressed as Maharashtrian mulgi with nose ring, dancing on Maharashtra’s folk dance Lavani, hanging to a chandelier, to lighting a matchstick by rubbing on her chikni body, to flaunting pahua (carrying a bottle) on her naazuk waist. Interesting buzz is that Katrina wore three costumes for the song and one of them happens to be similar navaree that Helen wore for her number.
Katrina Kaif has stolen the limelight, as never before she has looked so hot. Let’s hope it breaks all the previous records of the item numbers like ‘Munni Badnam Hui’, ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ and ‘Jalebi Bai’, which looted the Indian and world audiences.
Agneepath also stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt. The film releases on 26th January, 2012.
