Viacom 18 motion pictures presents bollywood hindi movie SHAITAN, directed by Bejoy Nambiar and joint production by Anurag Kashyap and Sunil Bohra. The film is a topical thriller based on a true incident. This movie is based on 5 youngsters namely Amy (Kalki Koechlin) an attractive, aggressive teenage daughter of a rich NRI. Dash or Dushyant Sahu (Shiv Pandit) is retired at 23, lives life on his own terms. KC or Karan Chaudhary (Gulshan Devaiya) has the money, he has the style and women. Party animal with ‘Fun’ being his middle name. Zubin (Neil Bhoopalam) is the secret lover and Tanya (Kirti Kulhari) pretty & petite, wants to be a supermodel. They are young, intelligent, good looking and ‘uber cool’. These 5 have no hang ups and no boundaries, excitement is what they seek till a ‘moment’ changes everything. An accident and their actions to cover up lead them through a series of incidents across the roads, streets and by lanes of Mumbai and into the dark side the lurks within all of us – The Shaitan.
The film also starts Rajeev Khandelwal as Inspector Arvind Mathur. He is entrusted with the unenviable task of chasing the youngsters down
exposes the underbelly of the Police system and crime while grappling with his inner Shaitan. The confluence of the two sides brings across
the ultimate explosion of action drama and thrill on Indian screens that are best described as real and raw. The music of SHAITAN is composed by Prashant Pillai, Amar Mohile, Ranjit Barot and Anupam Roy and lyrics penned by K. S. Krishnan, Sanjeev Sharma, Colin Terence, Abhishek and Shradha. SHAITAN, is all set to hit the screens on 10th June 2011.
