A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed on the release of the Hindi film Good Newwz in the High Court of Karnataka seeking a stay of the movie
The PIL claims that the promos of film creates confusion and there are chances of semen mix-up in assisted pregnancy. Apart from this the PIL also stats that the film promotes centres of Indira IVF as potentially poor and low standard. Since it is vacation in courts, a vacation bench of the HC was urged to take up the hearing of the petition on Tuesday. 27th December is when HC has mentioned they will take up the hearing until then film is slated for release.
