Blank is a Bollywood mystery-thriller, written and directed by Behzad Khambata. Blank has multi Producers namely Dr. Shrikant Bhasi, Nishant Pitti, Tony D’Souza and Vishal Rana.
The movie stars Sunny Deol and newcomer Karan Kapadia in lead roles. For the starters, Karan Kapadia is Dimple Kapadia’s nephew and late Simple Kapadia’s son.
The film also stars, Ishita Dutta and Karanvir Sharma.
Sunny Deol is a dutiful officer at the Intelligence Bureau who chooses his duty over system’s politics. Both Ishita Dutta and Karanvir Sharma play Intelligence Bureau officers in the film.
So, the plot is – a Pakistani terrorist organisation plans to bomb the city and sends a suicide bomber to execute it, played by Karan Kapadia who has lost his memory in an accident and is no longer able to remember (or pretends to be) any detail about his group or their target. He is BLANK.
Deol’s cop is left radar-less on the case he’s been trying to solve for months, an ominous voiceover says, “Terrorism ka koi chehra nahi hota. Uska dharam sirf paisa. Aur humara dharm, duty. (There’s no face to terrorism. It’s religion is money and ours is duty).”
The Film also sees Akshay Kumar doing a peppy number composed by Arko and sung by B Praak. Akshay said in an interview that the song was his way of wishing his brother-in-law Karan Kapadia all the best for his debut film Blank.
The trailer promises that the film will be high on the action with all the lead actors performing some hardcore action scenes. While Sunny Deol appears to be promising. We hope Karan Kapadia debut wins him good reviews and makes his aunt proud.
The movie will hit the big screens on May 3, 2019.
