Director Aanand Rai, and producer Shailesh R Singh’s Tanu Weds Manu is an upcoming Hindi movie. It stars R.Madhavan as Manoj Sharma ‘Manu’, Kangna Ranaut as Tanuja Trivedi ‘Tanu’ and Jimmy Shergill as Raja are in the lead roles. The other casts includes Deepak Dobriyal as Pappi, Ravi Kishen , Rajendra Gupta , Eijaz Khan as Jassi , Swara Bhaskar as Payal.
This Bollywood movie has been written by Himanshu Sharma, Music is directed by Krsna and Raj Shekhar has penned the lyrics.
How far would you go to find true love? Manu lived abroad for 12 long years and all these years he lived, he made no best friend or friends. He is a very unromantic person but smart, intelligent, caring, shy & sweet boy who is what makes a perfect ‘Husband’. He would never do anything that his parents would disapprove. His parents were back of him to get married to a girl from India. So he lands up in Kanpur, meets Tanu. She has studied in Delhi. She’s a smart, intelligent girl who will do everything that her parents will disapprove. With a mind of her own, Tanu is dead against arranged marriage and will marry a guy who her parents will hate.
Quite the opposites, but as they say “Opposites attract”. Destiny holds something totally different for these dramatically diverse personalities. Their paths keep crossing time and again and weave this wonderful story through the Indian heartland.
