Shah Rukh Khan, a Delhi based actor charmed the nation with his performances which helped him secure the name of ‘King Khan’ or ‘Bollywood’s Baadshah’ in the Hindi Film Industry.
Shah Rukh has surely come a long way with the help of some great filmmakers, banners and great films. But the fact to reckon with here is that he never belonged to any filmy background or had a God Father to guide him up. It is only years later that this Bollywood Baadshah is all set to become God Father to many upcoming talents this year like Alia Mahesh Bhatt, Varun David Dhawan and Zoa Karim Morani.
Shah Rukh Khan, through his production house Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, has been seen presenting the widest array of talent this year in Bollywood by way of debut director Roshan Abbas who’s made in project ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ went on floors this year. The movie launched Ali Fazal (the Joe Lobo of ‘3 Idiots’ fame) as a lead actor opposite Zoa Morani, the daughter of Raja Hindustani’s producer Kareem Morani. The movie has already hit the silver screen. Unfortunately, the movie didn’t work at the box office.
Shah Rukh Khan is now ready with his another production venture ‘Student of the Year’, which will be directed by the much sought after director, Karan Johar. It will be starring debutant star kids Varun Dhawan, son of David Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. The movie will also have another newcomer Siddhart Malhotra. The movie is co-produced by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. Although, the fresh young cast is all excited, none of them have been seen at any events and also haven’t yet made any public appearances.
According to the sources, Alia Bhatt was actually considered by Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she was all of 12 for his remake of ‘Balika Baddhu’. Unfortunately that project never took off. By the way, Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly impressed by Alia’s charm and acting, and is keen on recommending her to his producers and directors. Those who have watched the scenes of Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’, insist that a star is indeed born!
The superstar tag already has added enough pressure and responsibility on Shah Rukh Khan. We hope that King Khan is able to handle the responsibility of these budding careers. According to the sources, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen doing a cameo in ‘Student of the Year’.
