Looks like its showering baby girls in B- town. Bollywood actress yummy mummy Lara Dutta has been blessed with a baby girl today afternoon. She’s the second most awaited kid in Bollywood after ‘Beti B’. Husband Mahesh Bhupathi tweets and announces to the world, “ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @DuttaLara. I Love u….,”.
33-year-old Lara Dutta married tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi on 16 February 2011 in a serene Christian wedding ceremony in Goa.
Over the last few days, Lara has been busy setting up house for the little one. “It’s fun having my parents here and getting the house baby -proof. Anticipation and excitement in the air. Feels good to start 2012 like that,” Lara posted on her social networking page.
The sport star was keen on having a daughter. “Mahesh is very excited and would like to have a daughter. However, as a mother, when you are going through the experience of carrying a baby for nine months, the first-and-foremost priority is to have a healthy baby,” Lara spoken to the media.
During her baby shower, Lara had stated that all her friends had predicted her baby to be a baby boy. She had said: “And as for us, we don’t know. So, we will be equally surprised. I don’t mind if it’s a boy or a girl.”
