”God of Dance”, Bollywood hunk and certified heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, who makes jaws, drop with his flawless moves and flexible dancing style makes his television debut as judge on a dance reality show ”Just Dance”. This show is based on the hit US TV show ”So You Think You Can Dance”. Along with Hrithik, ace choreographers Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant will also judge the show.
Excerpts from an interview in which Hrithik reveals how emotional he got on the show, and the importance of time management. “I am no God of Dance. I am very happy person that I have become a symbol of dance, so that through me, so many talented Gods of Dance will get opportunity. I am happy and blessed about it. Apart from that (I feel I am) not the best dancer in the country, city and not even in my neighbourhood. I am just a hardworking dancer,” he said.
When asked if he finds folk or any other form of dance difficult, Hrithik said, “I find every dance difficult. I start with zero. Whenever I start, I feel I can’t do it and then I keep rehearsing.”
Talking about his idols in dancing, the 37-year-old actor said, “One of course is the true God of dance – Michael Jackson and the other one is Shammi Kapoor. He goes beyond steps as his body just moves to music.” On who is the best dancer among current actors, Hrithik refused to name anyone, saying, “It is difficult for me to name because if I miss out some name they will feel bad.”
Coming to the show the winner gets to dance with Hrithik in a video, Rs.1crore in cash and drive away in a Swift from Maruti Suzuki. “Just Dance” airs on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm, on Star Plus.
